Dongjae Kang

Dongjae is a dedicated researcher with a multidisciplinary approach to public policy, technology, and community engagement. His academic focus in Industrial and Systems Engineering, combined with a dual major in BTM and a minor in STP at KAIST, has equipped him with a solid foundation in assessing how technological advancements impact society and in shaping policies for sustainable, inclusive growth.

 

Beyond academia, his experience as a Youth Representative on the Participatory Budget System Committee in a district of Seoul and as a member of the Daejeon Youth Policy Coordination Committee has strengthened his commitment to participatory governance and community-centered policies. As President of the 34th KAIST Undergraduate Student Council, representing the entire undergraduate student body, he further developed his ability to advocate for transparency, accountability, and inclusivity.
